今朝

霧のかかる春日山城

天守閣跡を目指してみた

山道が続く

謙信もこの道を歩いたのであろうか

This morning

Foggy such  Castle Kasugayama

I aimed at the castle tower trace

A mountain path follows

Would Kenshin walk this way, too?

 　本丸へ向かう道   Way toward the main enclosure

三の丸を過ぎ毘沙門天の御堂があった　
I was over outermost outworks, and there was Mido of Bishamonten

上杉謙信は毘沙門天を熱心に拝んだという

It is said that Kenshin Uesugi worshiped Bishamonten  eagerly

I reached the top of Kasugayama.

天守閣址から見た街の中心部は  霧に煙っていた

It was showen dimly through fog

謙信がこの風景を毎日見ていたのであれば、

きっと天下を取ろうと考えていたに違いない

 If Kenshin watched this scenery every day,
Surely he must have intended to take the world
