上越市の桑取風景　with 「人生の扉」 
 At Kuwadori  in Joetsu city 
with "The door of the life"


上越市の桑取へ行く途中で
遠くに火打岳と焼岳が見えた
On the way to Kuwadori  in Joetsu city 
I saw Mt. Hiuchidake  and Mt. Yakedake in the distance

遠景の雪山の厳しさと
近景の優しさに感動し
人生を感じました

I was impressed by
 the strictness of the snowy mountains
 of the background
and
 the gentleness of the close view

then
I felt my life with them

 



 

山も春めいて美しい
The mountain gets more like spring　and is beautiful

 

下には桑取川が流れている
Kuwadori River flows below

 

 

山桜が咲いていた
A wild cherry tree bloomed

"The Doors of My Life"

As another spring has come
I keep growing older
The sights and sceneries around me
They also keep gradually changing

My childhood with a lot of pleasure
Is being lost in the past
Now I have come to know
That I am no longer in forties

Once I have realized
That time flies so fast and quick
Which I didn't know in the past
My heart says it wants to remember
Any little things
That I would not usually notice

I say it's fun to be 20
You say it's great to be 30
And they say it's lovely to be 40
But I feel it's nice to be 50

The beautifull cherry blossoms
And the autumn leaves of mountains
How many more times I'll be able
To see them in the rest of my life

Every time I push and open
The door of my life
I feel that it's getting so tough
I want to dedicate myself
To all of my people
That I love and that I care for

I say it's fine to be 60
You say it's alright to be 70
And they say still good to be 80
But I'll maybe live over 90

As the blue of your denim
keeps fading and wearing
The taste of it increases much more
As you keep walking your long road
At the end of your journey
You will find something that shines

I say it's sad to get weak
You say it's hard to get older
And they say that life has no meaning
But I still believe it's worth living
Oh, I still believe it's worth living
